FAQ

Freequently Asked Questions

Will you review my band if I send out an email requesting so?

Due to our busy schedule, we encourage band owners to avoid asking us to check out their band via a link. Instead, you can propel us to do so by emailing us your CD for review. Besides, we can get you listed through that means.

Do you help update band info?

No, we can’t because the band biographies are usually general and don’t entail dated materials that require an update. We only update via news, so email us your info to keep fans updated about your band.

Can I update my band info on your blog?

You can’t because we do all the maintenance of band info and news. Bands don’t have access to the private logins to update any information on our site. Nonetheless, send us news to help you update your fans.

Would you interview or feature my band?

Probably. We can’t be sure of interviewing or featuring your band on our site because we receive enormous requests daily, and it’s challenging to accept even a quarter of such requests. It’s beneficial if our staffer is interested in your music style or if our contributor can contact you one-on-one before a performance. We desire to have an instrument to simplify interview requests and fulfillment subsequently.

Do you promote bands?

It’s our pleasure to popularize all metal bands, including unsigned ones, by publishing their news, granting interviews, and reviewing their bands. However, we don’t precisely promote any band unless via advertisement.

I sent you news about my band, but you failed to publish it. Why?

We apologize for not posting your news. Aside from the fact that we get overwhelming amounts of emails every day regarding this aspect, we may not have published your report due to the following reasons:

  • We didn’t receive it, or it got spammed
  • Your info was too inadequate and poorly composed
  • It isn’t newsworthy

The trick is to make your news metal-related, well-composed, and newsworthy. That way, we’ll be eager to post.

Can you review my demo, promo, CD, DVD?

If you have heavy music, you’re free to send us a promo or review copy for deliberation. Rock, classic rock, post-hardcore, prog-rock, grunge/post-grunge, psychedelic bands short of a heavy element, and punk bands short of heavy hardcore elements don’t have to send us their review copies.
